Similar in style to a door knocker, a door tapper was meant to be mounted beside a bedroom door and make a more discreet tapping sound. It allowed visitors to quietly get the attention of the room's occupants. This one dates to about 1900 and features an elephant's head, cast in bronze. The trunk moves to make the tap-tap. It measures 3 1/2 inches long x 3 inches wide (at the ears) x 1 1/2 profile depth.

Though the listings don't come out and say "obo", you should treat each and every listing as if they said: or best offer.
The final price will be determined by your location. If it's simple packaging, like a priority box.
We don't charge for this. But some require packaging beyond. This item is made of bronze.
