14 x84 Antique Vintage Old Reclaimed Salvaged Arts and Crafts Style Interior SOLID Wood Wooden Closet Pantry Door Single Panel

Ultra-rare, interior door salvaged from an old home in central nj. The door is made of either solid douglas fir or pine and is completely painted white. It has a traditional, arts & crafts style design with single recessed (flat) panels on both sides. When most people hear "pine" they think of a cheap, weak, soft wood. New pine hewn from 10 - 20 year old trees don't have the same insect-resistant, rot-resistant, or even fire-resistant qualities that old pine, hewn from trees hundreds of years old have.

Old pine is also much harder and stronger than young pine. Hardware: the door is not equipped with any hardware. Condition: the door is strong, sturdy, and in excellent structural condition.

It has the typical nicks, scrapes, and scratches, which will disappear after sanding, prior to refinishing or repainting, and whatever remains will be subtle, character marks. There are no breaks, cracks, rot, warp, or any serious issues.

The door is very well-built and is ready for another lifetime of service. Refinish/repaint: we could refinish, repaint, or partially or completely strip the door to prepare it for you to repaint or refinish. We have hundreds of photos of doors we've worked on over the years for reference. Swing: the door is set up to swing into a room towards the left, or away from the room towards the right. Modification: do you want to replace the panel with glass, screen/mesh, or something else we could modify the door to fit your opening or suite your needs.
