Although there are 2 doors available, the list price is for 1 door only. The first 3 photos show door#1 and the next 3 photos after that show door#2. Please note that the 36"x83" in the title is just an estimate. Neither of the doors is exactly that size.

Beautiful antique interior doors salvaged from an old, home in northeastern pennsylvania. The doors were the front doors of a duplex. They are made of solid douglas fir and have a single, full-length beveled glass lite (1 1/4 bevel).

These doors are heavy (about 80lbs). Door#1 is stained on both sides, and door#2 is stained on one side and painted tan on the other side.

Hardware: the doors are not equipped with any hardware. Uneven size: both the width and height of door#1 were unevenly cut. The height was cut by 1/4", and the width by 3/8". The cuts were most likely made to accommodate a warped floor or sagging foundation.

Condition: considering the doors are about 100 years old, they are strong, sturdy and in great condition. They only have nicks and scratches, but no gouges, rot, warp, or any other serious issues. Most of the blemishes that they have will disappear after sanding, prior to refinishing or repainting, and whatever remains will be subtle, "character marks". The glass is fully intact and also in great condition with no cracks, chips or any large, noticeable scratches. Strip/refinish: we could strip/refinish, or partially or completely strip the door(s) to prepare it/them for you to repaint or refinish.

We have many photos of doors that we've restored that could give you an idea of how these doors could clean up. Swing: door#1 is set up to swing into the house towards the right, or away towards the left; door#2 swings in the opposite direction. Modification: we could modify the doors to fit your opening or suite your needs. We could make a frame, trim or add to the height or width, reverse the swing, plug the hardware holes, etc. Door#1: 35 1/2" - 35 7/8" x 83 1/4" - 83 1/2" x 1 3/4. Door#2: 35 1/2" x 84" x 1 3/4.
