Elegant, antique interior door salvaged from an old, home in northeastern pennsylvania. This door was made around the turn of the of the previous century, and is original to the home's construction. The door is made of solid douglas fir, or cypress and has 5 raised panels on both sides. The door is painted white on both sides.Hardware: the door is not equipped with any hardware. Condition: considering the door is well over 100 years old, it is strong, sturdy and in great condition. It only has nicks and scratches, but no gouges, rot, warp, or any other serious issues. Most of the blemishes that it has will disappear after sanding, prior to refinishing or repainting, and whatever remains will be subtle, "character marks". Strip/refinish: we could strip/refinish, or partially or completely strip the door to prepare it for you to repaint or refinish.
We have many photos of doors that we've restored that could give you an idea of how this door could clean up. Swing: the door is set up to swing into a room towards the left, or away from the room towards the right.
Modification: do you want to replace the panels with glass, screen/mesh, or something else we could modify the doors to fit your opening or suite your needs. We could make a frame, trim or add to the height or width, reverse the swing, plug the hardware holes, etc.
