Barn Door Baby Pet Barn Gate (Outdoor Use)

Looking to add some style to your outdoor deck, fence, or front porch this handmade barn door is crafted from 1st quality pressure treated wood. We select this style of pressure wood to ensure your investment will withstand even the harshest of outdoor elements. Because this gate is made from pressure treated outdoor wood, we recommend (but don't require) that you allow 4 to 5 weeks "drying time" before you paint or stain the door. The pressure treating process will allow some seeping to leave the wood which can cause the paint to peel.

Once dried it's perfectly fine to paint. Materiais: solid 1/2 pressure treated yellow pine, pocket hole screws, deck screws, black rustic hinges with latch, and glue.

All gates are made with solid 1/2 x 4 (actual 1/2 x 3.5) boards for the backing and the same solid 1/2 x 6 (actual 1/2 x 5.5) framing boards on the front. Basic gate styles include an x brace or z brace on the front. When measuring, we always recommend leaving 3/4 - 1 off your opening width to allow for the gate swing and hinges. All doors are custom built from your order date. Please indicate door size in the comments section of your order.
