Composite overhead garage door

Our patented custom residential wood composite doors come primed in white, gray or black. These doors are made to order and are not pre-stocked. Lead-times can range from 3-6 weeks depending on how many doors we have on order at the time. These doors require a professional door installer as they come with torsion springs that require special knowledge and tools to apply the tension to the springs. We have resources for finding local qualified installers.

The door has a insulated wood core, hardwood plywood interior and a very durable wood composite exterior cladding with a raised grooved panel (see cross section drawing). Our patented construction method seals out moisture penetration as there are no seams for water to get in. This door is designed for maximum durability in adverse weather conditions. The overall thickness is 1-7/8.

The doors will come primed and will require a finish coat to match the color scheme of your home. If you top coat will be a light color then request a white base coat. If you top will be black please request a black base coat.

If your top coat will be a medium to darker tone please request a gray base coat. The composite cladding sheets are 1/2 thick and carved into the design on a cnc machine and then vacuum laminated onto the wood core frame achieving a rock solid door panel. This door does not dent like a steel door does and can be easily repaired with bondo or epoxy wood filler, sanded and repainted.

The composite has a smooth surface with no cheap, fake looking wood grain. We can customize this door to fit numerous architectural designs from the traditional to the modern.
