Door Knocker 0f Solid Antique Brass Italian

This rather fierce looking solid brass lion is as meek as a cat, but makes a lot of noise when you swing the knocker. I can't say with any accuracy how old it is, other than to guess early 1900s. It's manufactured by casting the brass, as shown in the 9th photo. The last photo shows the door knocker on the farmhouse door which i restored.

I prefer polishing my brass, every so often i would unscrew the bolts & give him a polish. The doorknocker is in solid condition with it's bolts. Lion's head - 3 3/4 inches in width & length.

The knocker - 3 1/2 inches wide. The rosette - just under 3 inches. Please request the price if you wish your parcel to be insured.
