French antique cast iron door knocker/ door pull. This lovely cast iron door knocker has been cleaned up from its previous paint and patina and taken down to the metal. It now has a lovely burnished finish from polishing. It would have previously adorned an impressive house here in france. The condition is excellent, very solid and robust with a wonderful patina, with traces of its previous patina on the recess. There is wear on the screwed thread and it appears welded at the nut end, but unscrews smoothly at the knocker end to fix it to your door. This door knocker is looking for a new home and is ready and complete for use again. This will make an impressive statement on your door. High: 6 / 15.2 cm. Wide: 5 / 12.5 cm.
