Seriously impressive and rare to find mid 19th century period door knocker in good authentic condition and english in origin with its original worn paint. This one will impress your visitors before they have entered your home, if you have an appreciation of history and are looking for a genuine victorian period knocker, this is a fine example with beautiful casting and detail. The knocker is heavily worn but still retains good detailing, remnants of old paint layers and surface patination give it an incredible feel.

The scroll and foliate detail combined with the surface patination and ware is perfect and authentic. Approx dimensions are 21.5cm high, 9cm wide and 3.5cm projection off the door surface. The bolt length would suit a door around 4.5cm depth, or deeper if the fixing was countersunk when fitting. Please see my other shop items for more quality antique hardware, fixture and fittings.
